We understand that patients may from time to time require a refund for a package they purchased with HealthMe. Our policy is to provide the full refund of the purchase price if appointments are cancelled at least 2 business days before your scheduled visit the healthcare provider. If the cancellation is made within 2 business days of the appointment, the purchase price will no longer be refundable; however the appointment may be rescheduled one time at such time as agreed between the patient and the provider. When you arrive at your scheduled appointment, you will simply need to provide your unique redemption code to the office staff so that they can mark that you arrived for your appointment.
A redemption code is a unique code that we email to you after you purchase a package. The redemption code is a string of 7 characters. When you arrive at your doctor’s appointment, you present the staff your redemption code so that they can look up your information and package details.
Purchasing a package is very similar to any online shopping experience. You can purchase a package on the main HealthMe site or from a portal on your doctor’s website. You can discover packages either by searching for your doctor, their office name, or by searching by pain symptom (e.g. knee pain). Once you’ve identified the doctor and package, you’ll simply select “purchase” and go through a simple checkout process.
For your convenience, we accept all major credit cards. For some packages, you can also pay via ACH bank transfer.
Once you’ve purchased a package with the doctor of your choosing, you will need to contact that doctor’s office to schedule your appointment. In many cases, the doctor’s office may contact you first. If you need any assistance, you can contact our customer support team at email@example.com
No, the package prices you see already include all fees for what is described in the package as well as HealthMe’s technology fee. You will not see any additional fees – just the single package price.
Yes, we charge a technology fee for using HealthMe. The fee has already been added to the price you see when shopping for packages on HealthMe. This fee funds the operation of the platform, and also covers credit card processing fees.
Patients who are beneficiaries of government programs are not eligible for participation. If you are a beneficiary of a government program or an in-network patient and inadvertently purchased a self-pay package, HealthMe will provide you with a full refund. Insurers may apply the money spent on HealthMe towards your deductible but you will need to check with your insurance company to verify this. There are many insurance companies with multiple plans whose benefits are constantly changing.
Most commonly, your doctor has directed you to our website or our portal on their website to purchase the care package you need. You can search by symptom, by location, and by provider. Once you find the package with your doctor, you can simply purchase the package. We’ll send you an email with a unique redemption code. When you arrive at your doctor’s appointment, present them the redemption code and receive your treatment. It’s as simple as that.
